The United National Party (UNP) yesterday asked the government to table the names of parliamentarians who had obtained drugs worth millions of rupees from the parliament dispensary.UNP front-liner Dayasiri Jayasekara said Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena had revealed this at a recent meeting and it was reported in the media.
Mr. Jayasekara said parliament should be informed who had abused their political influence to obtain stocks of drug from the dispensary.
“They should be exposed in parliament. We have the right to know who these MPs are”, he said.
