Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) organized an international partner engagement on 01st September 2025 at the Grand Bell Hotel, Colombo, to present its impactful journey in the fight against corruption. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. François Valérian, Chair of Transparency International.
Representatives from foreign embassies and INGOs, participated in the discussion, where TISL showcased its initiatives in the fight against corruption. The positive societal impact of these efforts was highlighted, receiving appreciation from the participants.
The TISL work and chapter briefing was presented by Ms. Dhewni Dias, Advocacy and Research Officer, and Mr. Shaveendra Senarath, interim Senior Manager – Political Sector and Fundraising, together with Ms. Maheshi Herat, Deputy Executive Director.
The participants encouraged the organization to explore new avenues and scale its impact in line with emerging trends to address the country’s upcoming challenges. These insights will inform TISL’s forthcoming strategic plan.
Mr. Valérian expressed appreciation for TISL’s work and its community impact, underscoring the importance of collaborative efforts in advancing integrity and accountability. TISL extended its gratitude to all participants for their valuable feedback and continued support.
