The bribery and other malpractice charges levied from the parents of school children came to light today when the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery and Corruption revealed that seventy percent of the daily complaints they receive are against principals and heads of sections of state schools.
The school heads are accused of soliciting bribes to admit children to leading government schools.
The Chairman of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery and Corruption Justice Jagath Balapatabendi told media that these scrupulous educationists cover various associations for engaging in this misdeed.
He pointed out that a number of complaints had been received about misuse of these monies.
