Public living in Ambalangoda had a privilege to obtain services from Local Government Authority Ambalangoda Pradeshiya Saba (PS) in their doorstep without usual visit to the PS. This opportunity was received by public when the officials of the Ambalangoda PS traveled to Gonapinuwala district secretariat to conduct a Public Service Incentive Programme.
Officials organaised this programme under the programme of improving transparency, accountability and governance of the Pradeshiya Saba with the support of TISL. Shan Wijayala de Silva Former Chief Minister Southern Province along with more than 500 people’s representatives and officials participated in this programme.
Public were able to receive services from the PS as well as the other services like Identity Cards. Further there were medical camp and dental clinic which offered laboratory services too. TISL also had an exhibition center and conducted a free legal clinic.
