PUBLIC OPINION ON THE RIGHT TO INFORMATION

A study done by Transparency International Sri Lanka revealed that 95% of the General Public thinks they have an entitlement to the right to obtain information they attempt to seek but it was also  revealed that 49.6% of respondents were not aware of a right called “Right to information”.
