On Monday, June 20,2011, the TISL website www.tisrilanka.org was inaccessible through Sri Lanka Telecom ADSL broadband internet service. This lasted from about 3-7pm.
TISL immediately checked with Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) server room in connection with the same. TISL was informed that this service disruption occurred due to a problem in the destination network.
Many regular visitors called out of genuine concern and we would like to express our gratitude to all of them.
We at TISL are aware that there is considerable interest in our website accessed by numerous persons. We present alternative viewpoints and access to a wide array of information, documents, news etc. related to governance and corruption. The exposures of issues and situations must be done so that what is detrimental is removed from the socio-political landscape and what is good in governance and management is replicated and multiplied.
