Women Activists Trained on Communication

The Shelter for Integrity, the legal arm of Transparency International Sri lanka (TISL) with the collaboration of Janavaboda Kendraya held a training programme on Communication and Technology for Women Activists engaged in the fight against corruption. The training workshop was held on 7th March 2015 at the St. Anthony’s Auditorium, Negombo to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Twenty Seven Women Activists who attended the training were briefed on the social implications of Corruption and trained on how to use new media in their fight against corruption.

The resource persons at the training were, Jagath Liyana Arachi, AAL, Manager ALAC, Asela Rajapakshe, AAL and Mahinda Rubasinghe.
