Capacity Building unit of Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) held meetings with representatives of Community Based Organizations (CBO) of Puttalam and Kurunegala Districts. The main purpose of the meetings was to buildup networking and cooperation with local level CBOs and to develop a work plan to impart knowledge and skills on good governance, transparency and accountability.
The meeting with the CBO representatives of Puttalam District was held at Senathilake Guest House on 12th May and the Kurunegala meeting took place at Hotel Bright Bravo on 13th May. Collective action plans for future trainings were developed at these meetings.
TISL officials also met District Secretaries of respective districts to discuss collective action plans.
