Former President Chandrika Kumaratunga said yesterday that the country could not be developed with the help of casino owners, racketeers and murderers.
“Although the war has ended, the country is overflowing with corruption,” said Mrs. Kumaratunga at a meting held at the Municipal Council of Puttalam.
She said that the war had been won with the weapons brought by her. “The Government service is corrupt now,” she said.
