BACKGROUND:
Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) is the National Chapter of Transparency International, the global movement against corruption. TISL works to strengthen governance systems and eliminate corruption by engaging with state, private sector, and civil society actors. TISL plans to develop an educational video series to raise awareness on anti-corruption and legal systems in Sri Lanka. These videos will be used as tools to initiate broader conversations, build knowledge, and encourage practical understanding of legal frameworks and anti-corruption mechanisms.
OBJECTIVE:
TISL is seeking a production team or agency to conceptualise, script, film, and edit a high-quality video series focused on anti-corruption and legal systems in Sri Lanka. The goal is to create a compelling and educational resource that is accessible, engaging, and suitable for a wide audience, including the general public, private sector professionals, students, and investigative journalists.
SPECIFICATIONS:
The video series should meet the following requirements:
- A total of 6 to 10 video episodes, each between 5–10 minutes in length.
- Each video must cover a distinct but interconnected theme (content will be provided)
- The videos should be produced in Sinhala, Tamil and English (dubbed/subtitled)
- Style should be dynamic and accessible, using a mix of animation, presentations, case examples, on-screen narration, or infographics.
- TISL will provide thematic guidance and reference material. The service provider is expected to work closely with TISL to finalise scripts and visual concepts.
- Videos should be optimised for dissemination on social media and websites (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), including vertical or square formats for certain segments.
- The final versions of the videos must be submitted in HD quality and accompanied by all raw files, editable files, subtitle files, and short 30-second teaser versions for promotional use
DELIVERABLES:
- 6–10 completed and fully edited video episodes.
Finalised scripts and storyboards for each video (to be approved by TISL before production).
- Dubbed/Subtitled versions.
- Editable and raw files of all video material.
- Short promotional size versions (15–30 seconds) for social media.
- A visual identity concept for the series (intro/outro, lower thirds, graphics).
- A short guide or recommendation note for dissemination and audience engagement strategies.
DURATION:
The selected team/agency is expected to deliver the full set of deliverables within 02 Months of contract signing. TISL is open to working in phases.
PROPOSALS SHOULD INCLUDE:
- Brief note for the production approach.
- Examples of previous work (links to video productions or similar media work).
- Detailed timeline.
- Proposed team composition and brief bios.
- Budget breakdown with total cost (inclusive of all applicable taxes).
- Indicate ability to work in Sinhala and/or Tamil and provide samples if available.
