Winoth joined TISL in 2018 as Programme Officer for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Project and in 2019, transferred to the Research and Policy Team as a Programme Officer for Public Sector Procurement. In 2020, Winoth was promoted as Manager of the Research and Policy Team. His main tasks are overseeing work related to public procurement, the PEP Database, the protection of victims and witnesses and Business Integrity.
In his previous role as Programme Officer for Public Sector Procurement, he oversaw work related to public sector procurement in strengthening and promoting transparency and accountability within the procurement practices of the public sector. He has been leading TISL’s SDG 16 related work and authored the SDG 16 shadow report in 2018 and 2019 as well as the sectoral risk assessment report which looks at corruption risks in 4 SDG goals (SDG 3-Health, SDG 4-Education, SDG 5-Gender and SDG 13-Climate Change). He also oversaw the second Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) assessment in 2019/2020.
Winoth holds a BSc. (Hons) Degree in Psychology and has extensive research experience having worked as an independent researcher for several years.
