Kirupairajah Gowriswaran has joined TISL in March 2021 as a Head of Branches and Community Sector. He is a Development Specialist with over 20 years of working experience spanning, governance, community sector development, public/private sector advocacy, gender mainstreaming, health & nutrition, middle and small entrepreneurship development and cultural integration. In particular, he has senior managerial level working experience on managing community-based project implementation, women empowerment and knowledge and skills on strengthening youth programs.
Previously, he has been working for GIZ, UNDP, UNICEF & Save the Children International on the extended senior management positions, he also involved strategic program management and field operations, program design and development, strategy development, oversight of grants management, representation accountabilities, and donor reporting and relationship, fund raising, large scale humanitarian assistance and recovery, advocacy and monitoring, evaluation and accountability learning (MEAL).
Gowris holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) & Bachelor of Commerce (B Com) degrees and has professional memberships from MPM (Master of Professional Manager (American academy of Project Management), MCPM (Member of Chartered Professional Manager @CPM, Sri Lanka, and FIPM (Fellow member of Institute of Professional Financial Managers).
