About the Role
Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) is seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join its Kandy Branch as interns. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in anti-corruption work and client relations while contributing to strengthening democratic governance in Sri Lanka.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Programmes and Project Activities.
- Client and database management.
- Support advocacy campaigns and initiatives carried out by TISL.
- Assist and support client servicing, legal research and drafting.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Undergraduate/recent graduate in Law/Social Sciences/International Relations/ Development Studies/Humanities.
- Should possess excellent public relations skills. – Be fluent in Tamil and English (fluency in Sinhala is an added advantage).
- Basic experience or skills related to programme planning, legal research, and coordination.
This internship will enable you to:
- Develop a strong understanding of anti-corruption and governance frameworks in Sri Lanka.
- Build professional networks within the civil society, private sector, and governance space.
- Equip you with legal research, project implementation, and client servicing skills.
- Improve skills and knowledge on local and global legal and policy frameworks.
As an intern, you will receive:
