TISL’s Governance Report Launched

Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) released its latest report the only publication that exclusively focuses on the status of governance in Sri Lanka ‘The Sri Lanka Governance Report 2012/13’ last Thursday 29th May 2014.

The first copy of the report was officially handed over to the chief guest Royal Norwegian Ambassador to Sri Lanka H.E. Ms.Grete Lochen by Executive Director of TISL S. Ranugge at a ceremony held in BMICH.

The Governance Report is a regular publication of which brings into focus key governance issues and discusses the main incidents, trends and best practices pertaining to governance within a given year. This report covers 2012/2013 period and focuses on issues related to seven thematic areas of governance with balanced and unbiased content based on accurate and credible evidence.

At the launching ceremony Dr. Udana Fernando made the key note address on Governance Situation in Sri Lanka and Royal Norwegian Ambassador too made a speech as the chief guest. While welcoming the gathering of professionals, trade union leaders and media Executive Director of the TISL also made brief presentation on Governance Report.
